Now in its fourth year, Meritage began when Triangle Strings and the Raleigh Wine Shop decided to bring together fine, antique instruments and their bows from the classical tradition and pair them with a wine of the same caliber and region. This collaboration resulted in an intimate and engaging experience for attendees, in contrast with the more formal concert hall or museum setting in which one would typically encounter instruments of this quality. While the selection of instruments and bows varies every year, they all fall into the category of rare and historically significant.
