Greg’s interest in violin making began in high school when he started an apprenticeship with Ken Beckmann in Kansas City. He then attended the Chicago School of Violin Making, graduating in 2014. After graduation he continued studying with Ken Beckmann while also working with restorer Amos Hargrave. Greg has participated in the Oberlin restoration workshops where he met Jerry Pasewicz and was able to interact with other world renowned restorers.
