Michele Serrano

Director

Michele has been with Triangle Strings for over 10 years and is a Raleigh native. Although not a string player, she grew up playing the piano and dancing at St. Mary’s Arts Together school. Her diverse musical interests take her to Jazz and Latin performances, Hip Hop shows, Bluegrass and Folk festivals, and Classical concerts.

Michele holds a Bachelor of Science from NC State University in Wood Products. She was a teaching assistant for the Wood Anatomy and Physical Property Labs and a part time student recruiter for the Forest Biomaterials Department in the College of Natural Resources. Spending time in the community and in conversation with people is Michele’s ultimate skill, bringing her to work at Triangle Strings. Outside of work, Michele enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter being outdoors: camping, hiking, running and gardening.
