Originally from New York, Psalm moved to North Carolina in 2009 and started working for Pasewicz String Instrument that October. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in New Media from SUNY Purchase. Shortly after graduation, she began working for a company that provided closed captioning and subtitling for television programs and films as their Production Manager. The fast-paced environment of deadlines and managing staff prepared her well for her current position At Pasewicz String Instrument. Though not a strings player, she has come to enjoy the world of violin making and its history, even transcribing lectures for the Violin Society of America. Psalm lives in Raleigh with her husband, Jon, and young son, Canon. She enjoys staying active, the outdoors, exploring North Carolina with her family, going to see live music, reading, and baking.
